Reusable Bipolar Forceps Styles
A new non-stick design for precise applications. The ultra-slim forceps legs enable work in hard-to-reach areas. The optimally selected leg-to-toe ratio allows the surgeon unrestricted view of the forceps tips. The integrated leg guide ensures precise application and coagulation in fragile tissue.
The CLARIS REVERSE Non-Stick is characterized by its unique opening and closing behavior. The crossed design of the legs makes the forceps very easy to insert into narrow cavities as they are normally closed nad squeezed to open. Like all of the non-stick forceps, these also have the proven solid silver tips.
The round handle design makes rotation of the instrument between the fingers more convenient and precise. Combined with the silver non stick tips the integrated guide ensures precise, parallel closing of the forceps. High quality, durable safety insulation coating.
Innovative non-stick bipolar forceps with an extended handle section that ensures optimized handling and balance. The slim and delicately crafted forceps shanks allow for surgical access in small cavities and precise tips guarantee that tiny structures can be securely grasped. The shanks are angled to enable an optimised view of the operating site. An optional slidable silicone ring that can increase the forceps’ dissection force on the tissue – depending on the application and the preference of the surgeon.
During the coagulation of tissue the coagulated tissue might stick to the tip of the forceps. This undesirable effect can almost completely be avoided by using the CLARIS Non-Stick Bipolar Forceps. By using Silver for the tips of the forceps, difficult and time-consuming cleaning of the for ceps during an operation is no longer necessary and reduces interruptions during work. The non-stick effect is permanent and not reduced by frequent sterilisation.
Using only high quality materials in the production of our instruments a consistent and optimum spring tension is ensured. The well proven insulation coating resists highly alkaline cleaning agents, so that the electrical safety of the instrument is reliably ensured. The safety plug made of high-tech plastic encloses the complete connection area, even between the contact surfaces, in order to avoid the deposit of impurities in areas which are difficult to access and clean. Full range of from 110mm to 300mm, straight angled and bayonet.
Bipolar forceps with integrated irrigation channel are particularly suitable for coagulation of tissue such as the liver where coagulated tissue adheres to the tip.
Two types available with single or dual arm irrigation
Titanium bipolar forceps are significantly lighter than their stainless steel counter parts. They are non magnetic and can therefore be used in the presence of strong magnetic fields. The lower weight and black connecting plug indicates these are not standard forceps.
The non-traumatic structure of the TC jaw allows for a powerful and nevertheless precise and gentle grasping and manipulation of tissue with simultaneous bipolar coagulation. (European fitting only)
